Grading
Grading
Our cards are graded at the following conditions.
Mint - A Mint card is perfect in every way. We will rarely grade a card as Mint and when they are, they may be professionally graded as Gem Mint.
Near Mint (NM) - Near Mint is a standard unplayed or well protected card. It can still have a small nick or two on up to two edges or some light scratches, but is generally unplayed.
Excellent (EX) - A card with light play wear. Some examples may be slight whitening on edges, shuffle marks, nicks on more than two edges. An Excellent card still looks good, but isn't quite good enough to be NM.
Very Fine (VF) - A card with average play wear with moderate whitening around the edges or heavier scratches.
Fine (F) - A card with moderate to heavy whitening around the edges, heavier scratches, possible small creases or more distinct shuffle marks.
Good (G) - A card with heavy play wear. Heavy whitening around the edges and on the back of the card. Corners may be rounded and may have slight markering around edges. Generally not a great looking card. Expect a lot of damage but the card is stil playable in a sleeve.
Poor (P) - Ouch! May have heavy creases or tears in the card. Very heavy play wear. Edges may be heavily markered. A poor card is downright ugly.
If you would like more detail on a specific card or a scan of more expensive card, feel free to email us and ask. We will try to get a scan to you as soon as possible.
